A few questions to get us started:

1. What did you think of the world?
2. What did you think of the characters?
3. What worked or didn't for you?
4. Overall thoughts?

Bonus questions!

5. What is your Irish mythological creature background?
6. How does this tale stack up against other (view spoiler)?

Mai | 141 comments Typical medieval world, ho-hum. I like Jenny Greenteeth for the soft heart hidden beneath her rough, crusty exterior. Bracchus brings the humor. Temperance moves the plot along but meh. I especially like Cavall, the hound, because when the going gets tough Cavall digs in and does his doggy thing to save the moment, and that allows the rest of the team to save the day.

I have no Irish mythological creature background. The tie-in to King Arthur and Excalibur is far-fetched but I can live with it.

Molly O’Neil writes with a light touch, letting the plot and characters shine, giving us a quick and easy read.

Cynda is still foggy after knee surgery. (cynda) | 209 comments I read this novel earlier this year. Not being of British Isles culture.I had difficulty understanding how scary looking Jenny might have been. When I saw some imagery about another similar fishy creature with green teeth, then I understood. Scary water creature that Jenny.

There is a visual depiction of Jenny on the cover. She blends in with the pond weeds.

Cynda is still foggy after knee surgery. (cynda) | 209 comments The directions given and about staying in the path/The Path was worth reading. Also worth reading was the description of how how brave beings succeed against fairy forces and worse.

Cynda is still foggy after knee surgery. (cynda) | 209 comments Melanie, good to point that out because reading the ebook, the blinking screen and my old eyes didn't catch the artwork. I will take a look at the hard cover at local library when I next go.

CBRetriever | 6363 comments reading the book on a Kindle and not a tablet yields a greyscale cover so it's not as evident but image google Greenteeth and you'll see a lot of monsters

Cynda is still foggy after knee surgery. (cynda) | 209 comments I went to look at what I read/listened to at my library's e-services. Now I had some expectations of what I would find, now I can see Jenny. Probably because fortunately the library's e-services has the green jenny in green reeds. I just needed to know she was there so that I could find her. Jenny is mythological scary looking.
