I would be willing to read any of these. Great suggestions all!
Alannah, do you think that if The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois happens to win the poll that we can take two months for it instead of one? An 800 page book might need more than a month! Just a suggestion.

Yes, will certainly look into that if it does win.

I am also interested in The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois but for me it is very big to fit in remaining months, so if it wins i will try to read but if it doesn't i will propose a buddy read for January 2026. Greg and Steve what do you think?
I’m going to read The Love Songs of W. E. B. Du Bois, whether it is chosen by the group or otherwise, and I would be very happy to join with friends either as a group read or buddy read. It’s a nice suggestion Nidhi!🌞
May be more will join us, most readers shrink away from a big read but I love to live in books, the bigger the better.

Nominations start today and will close on 8th November 2025 (or as soon as the poll has six books).
During this time anybody can nominate and second one book each. You cannot second the book you have nominated. The 6 books with the most second votes at the end of the 7-day nomination period will go into the poll. There are no limits to the number of seconds a book can receive, although please be mindful of this as most times we do not receive enough nominations for the poll to open.
The poll will then run until the 15th November 2025 and the winner will be announced shortly after. I hope this will leave everybody with enough time to obtain the chosen book.
Please also check that your chosen nomination hasn't been a group read in the past. You can do this by looking at the group bookshelf, contacting one of the moderators, or posting on the 'Ask the Moderators' thread.
If you have any questions on the nominations process, please contact me, use the 'Ask the Moderators' thread or post on here and we will be happy to help.
