I liked this story but didn't love it. To me, Frost felt like a bit of a super-villain. He's one of those killers who is smarter than the average killer and can go years and years but not get caught. Really, I think the only reason he got caught this time was because he took Lacey to put Nikki in a vulnerable position so he could kill her. If he had just stuck to his once-a-year murder, he'd probably still be out there.

I was invested in this story and liked it a lot. It had good twists and gave us more information about Nikki's background. I hated that they killed Tyler this way. If Green wanted to kill Tyler, I would prefer it to be around one of his own investigations. To me, it feels like Green wanted the Nikki/Rory relationship to go forward without Tyler's childish behavior.
