Please write why you liked it and who you'd recommend it to (e.g. "for someone who likes romantasy with spice and a morally gray FMC").

I only had time for two books last month and surprisingly I liked the non-fiction better than the fiction. I read Dead in the Water: A True Story of Hijacking, Murder, and a Global Maritime Conspiracy because my dad talked about it and it sounded so interesting. It's far from the usual fantasy books I read but I think anyone who loves to listen to an occasional true crime podcast could also find it interesting.
I read The Infernal Devices trilogy from Cassandra Clare. Still intact with the rest of the series, but totally different and the characters were amazing. I couldn't stand Jessamine though and by the end of the series, Tessa was working my last nerve with her poor timing on a few choices & indecisiveness. Cassandra Clare is a bomb ass author and my favorite.
