Darcy Hoff, younger sister of Frost’s first victim has disappeared after writing an op-ed piece taunting him. Local police didn’t think Nikki and her team needed to be notified. Could you see any basis for this decision? Was it the right conclusion at the time that more weight be given to her having run away?

I thought this was poor police work in so many ways. True that Frost had not circled back around to other victim's families but there was not enough evidence to prove that she ran away. I would think given the circumstances of her sister's death that the police would have gone out of their way to look for her.

What is wrong with the police in Minnesota? I think this is the third police chief in this series who has done less than stellar work. I see no reason that they would not contact Nikki and her team about the disappearance, especially since the family requested it. At least Police Chief Kent Miller seems to be on top of things in his area.

This pissed me off. I know a lot of small town police are hard headed, but this series is taking it a little too far. I couldn't see any reason why the police wouldn't notify Nikki and the team. What would it hurt, even if she did run away?
