Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries

EMILY WILDE!!!! Kind of scholarly in tone, and it literally has footnotes, so if that's not your cup of tea I'd just like to warn you...but OTHERWISE it's a very cozy trilogy and one of my current favorites, especially for fall and winter <3

In theory, I could recommend Chimeras of Estmer to you. It's definitely a fantasy book, and it appears to be complete. The plot is stable and very interesting. What's more, it has three different romance subplots. One of them undoubtedly has yearning.

The problem is that it's a standalone book, not part of a series.
If that doesn't work for you, then I could recommend The Bytterbinde trilogy by Cecilia Dart-Thornton or Royal Bastards by Andrew Schvarts.

The Legends of Thezmarr series by Helen Scheuerer. ⚔️⚡️ There’s another series after it, and a couple interconnected books to go along with this.

I also highly recommend The Wolf King series, but I’d wait until this coming summer when the 3rd book comes out! 🌕🐺
