and ha! I loved the nod to this author's other stories!! The hotel, the school - all the bodies!! It IS an odd town! I love it!

wow, sister sounds absolutely terrifying. but I wonder how Violet can get rid of her. it sounds like she's haunted her for most of her life - only when she's gone from Fell is sister stuck there

so . . .what has "he" been telling her over and over?? hmmm. . I don't have any guesses yet

but the neighbors are interesting - the fact that they left so suddenly. feels like there is more going on here that the siblings don't know yet (hide spoiler)]

OMG! Of course, a little boy didn't write on the wall!! Bringing her there was such a good idea but I'm so sad she left. I mean, I get it, but I'm sad.

each of the siblings seems like they are finally connecting with people. and I hate that the person who the brother was connecting with just left

but OMG the sister!! it's wild that SHE is the one that is hurting them and scaring them away. But did she do something to her own brother so long ago or did she have to protect him?

and what did Alice mean when she said Violet can make the Sister go away?? Hmmm (hide spoiler)]

Wow, that last fight - in the water. I was so worried one of them would die because one of them wasn't going to leave.

but then we got those last few chapters and we got to know that Vail stayed to fix the house. I love that he tended to the graves and OMG I love that he was telling a story!! Ugh, so great!

and I love that Violet stayed with Bradley, much as he was annoying, he was so good with her. and I love that Lisette worked it out and she stayed sassy and so fearless

and I love that Dodie went and found Ethan.

Ugh, just such a great ending! loved it! (hide spoiler)]
