I know this author and have read three of her books. I would like to merge the entires of her audio CDs but two of the entries have been added more than 5 times. In addition, Today I haven't been able to combine books on her page, although have done it elsewhere. (I didn't touch the audible one since it's a different edition.)

I haven't tried merging any others and haven't been able to combine books on her page either, although I may have done so in the past.

All audio CD editions have their own ISBN and are therefore are all valid editions that shouldn't be merged.

Not all of the ISBN numbers for the audio CDs are correct. Brilliance Audio (the audio division of Thomas Nelson, who published the paperback and kindle editions as well. ) no longer has the audiobook CDs listed on their site so I'll have to leave it.

The print and audio editions were both released in 2019; only the large print and translations came out at different times. Since librarians can no longer rectify this due to problems (I understand as I've seen some strange things done by editors).

In the meantime, I'm unable to even combine books on her page I know to be the same since I'm familiar with her work. I normally confine my librarian work to authors I know or am looking up and can check; I only come here occasionally to help with a few requests.

The combine function is not working at the moment.

It is quite rare that an edition with an ISBN should be merged. In this case all five audio CD editions can be found on Amazon (which is not even a requirement) so I can't think of much that could still make them invalid editions.

Thanks! -This is why I don't normally merge books.

I finally logged into WordCat this afternoon and found five more ISBNs just for the 10 CD recording sets that aren't found on GR.

I'm utterly flummoxed as to why a publisher paid for so many ISBNs on a recorded book only 6 years old. (I'm not thinking about library editions or the MP3 CD one.)

I'll stick to what I know how to do well and leave the other things.
