G | 1 comments Can’t seem to finish a book atm 🥲 what books got you out of a slump? 📚

⚛️ (tasneem's version) (aestheticallyhypnotic) | 3 comments I dont remember having a reading slump but I think determining a specific amount of pages you want to read (like 30 pages) no matter if you were interested in the book or not, set a goal, and just force yourself to do it, and if you were interested keep reading and if u didn't just finish the 30 pages or whatever you pick, this is actually my way to finish a book I'm not interested in😭😭

Kora Upitis | 33 comments The worst feeling! depending on what you usually read I find short mysteries (think Freida Mcfadden) or short romances are good books to get back into reading. Also a comfort series works for me sometimes too (Harry potter, hunger games etc). specific books that have gotten me out recently:
- Half a soul by Olivia Atwater
- The naturals series by Jennifer lynn barnes

Kailee | 35 comments I️ sometimes will reread one of my favorite books. I’m lowkey in one right now, instead of rereading I’m reading Jurassic Park because I️ loved the movie as a kid.

Katniss Everdeen | 552 comments Hunger Games got me out of a reading slump and into a reading high! You have to like that genre, but if you try it and like the genre there are so many good ones!

LouBean ( Noah Kahan’s version ) | 159 comments Try reading a book you have read loads before, or one of your faves as a kid!

LouBean ( Noah Kahan’s version ) | 159 comments And good luck! You got this 😘

Mia Barati | 4 comments Hey everyone 😊 If you’ve been single for a while, what kind of books do you find yourself reading? Do you go for romance, self-growth, adventure, or something completely different? I’ve been curious how being single influences what we’re drawn to in stories. Drop your favorites I’m looking for my next good read lol , Thank you for your Support

Kennedy Camero (knotsplusthoughts) | 10 comments If you’re into it what got me out of my last slump was the bridgerton books. They’re quick easy reads, a small amount of spice and not written bad either.

message 16: by Cam (new)

Cam | 2 comments Stop because I was doing so well in the beginning of the year reading 3 books per month but once I got to Keeping 13 in the Boys of Tommen series I just fell into the biggest slump ever that I haven't even finished the book yet! I'm not sure if it's because it was my senior year and a lot of stuff came up or because I was talking to my now boyfriend but I really want to finish it, but as a college freshman I find it difficult to read more than one chapter . Any recommendations?

all three of those genres, actually !! romance and adventure combined is my favorite. but sometimes reading these also get me feeling even more lonely, so i read self-growth books to remind myself that i can be happy alone 😊💞 !!

⋆˚࿔ Bel 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ | 11 comments Gurl read smth out of ur comfort zone or a book from an author u loved. Always start by giving ur self 3/4 chapters everyday, and set the atmosphere into something cozy, that way you can be invested in the book. Hope that helps 🩷😜

Sarah E B ʚ♡ɞ (saraheb2011) | 94 comments Sometimes I like to revisit books that I have reread before; it's like rediscovering the spark of loving books. Also, what I discovered in the last two years is going outside your comfort zone (or revisiting a genre that you haven't read in a long time.

Selina Messina | 7 comments Depending what you enjoy reading these are some of the books that got me out of a reading slump:

The Boyfriend

Bone by Bone

(Right now) The Ex Hex

Pretty much any of the hockey romances from Elle Kennedy (specifically from her Briar U series or Off-Campus)

Or short YA books that were nostalgically good reads!

Libby ( not accepting fr rn!) | 21 comments Reading a short, relatable graphic novel helps me! My favorite is Shannon Hale's Friends Forever.
