message 1: by Diane (new)

Diane Moseley | 2686 comments Triggers. -Triggers could be people, places or situations that cause a strong emotional reaction. (what are your triggers?) These bible verses encourage us to pause, think and rely on God's peace rather than reacting impulsively. -

People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness. -Proverbs 14:29
And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. -Colossians 3:15
And “don’t sin by letting anger control you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry. -Ephesians 4:26
Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. Human anger[a] does not produce the righteousness[b] God desires. -James 1:19-20
