Need help!!

Hey, I am in the process of writing a novel and one thing I hate and struggle with is names.
And naming characters and animals.
I’d love some tips and I’d love some help making some for one I am writing right now.
The book is based in Australia farming country

The main character is Daniella: she has two dogs: accadacca and hogan

I want her to have a pet cow so I need a name for him:
And another animal I haven’t decided yet like a miniature donkey or something, ideas?
She also has two stock horses.

He’s name is Riley:
He has three dogs, I need names for all three:
He has one horse: needs a name.


I need a name for Riley’s brother. He’s dad and mum and should he have a sister?


I normally write books without doing this and do it myself but I thought why not see what everyone else might come up with. Thanks for the help x

Try just using a placeholder name for now and don't stress too much about it. Just like everything when it comes to writing, it isn't 100% until it is polished. Use a name generator if you are in need of a name aspa.

I use place holders if I'm writing the plot.
When I create character cards tho? That's when I stress with the name, definition, middle and last, and other shit.
