Van LaCar | 2 comments Hi! I’m the author of Bound by Fire (The Bound Series).
Please merge duplicate editions with the main one. They are the same book, and I only want one listing.

Main edition to keep: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Duplicate editions to merge: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
and
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Thank you!

Eline | 7033 comments This request does not involve the adding of new books/new editions to the Goodreads database, so it is in the wrong folder.
Please move your topic to the correct folder Book & Author Page Issues by clicking the edit button next to the topic's title and picking the target folder from the pulldown list (only available for desktop/laptop, not in the app).

Van LaCar | 2 comments For some reason, it won't let me merge editions in my author dashboard.

When I try to combine them, I get this message:
Must select at least 2 works to combine.
However, I only have one book under that title, but three editions all under that title with different covers. So, I'm unable to merge them to the correct cover with the ASIN:
B0F224T3VJ (Black and red cover is the one I'd like all three to match.)

Then, if I go into book details and update the ASIN, it says it can't be modified, or that I'm prohibited from saving those changes to make all three match.

So, I'm not sure what to do to fix this, and I would love step by step help, please.

Camilla | 343 comments The editions are already combined. All three editions are valid (two paperback editions with different covers, and one Kindle edition). Merging in Goodreads means deleting, which we can't do in this case, as readers want to shelve the edition they have read.
