Review: I love these guys & get so excited when there is another series of them. Our MC's are looking at becoming parents and while doing so run into a murder case. The only real thing is that they are on different teams and one of the things I really love about them is them working together. I can't wait for more.

Review:
This is #1 of a new series (to me) in Lynn Hagen's Brac universe. It never fails to amaze me how she puts a new twist to what are essentially more than a hundred versions of the same basic stories. Two human 'twinks' go into a biker bar. Unknown to them it is full of shifters, sensing prey or in the case of one lucky shifter, his fated mate. There's the expected bad guy, who appears to be an abusive former lover in this book but that's a red herring. Nothing new really but still an interesting read. The only downside is that, in spite of those hundred plus books, the proof reading still leaves a lot to be desired.

Jane asks for no chatting in our Selection and Completion Posts. I completely understand, it makes it easy to miss things. Would you please edit your comment from the beginning of your Selection Post. Thanks!
Though, how lucky to pick a book that works!

He Falls First by Jill Shalvis, 372 p. per GRInitially published August 5, 2025.
Completed 11.10.2025 *5 Stars*
Just what I needed! Jill Shalvis never disappoints. I really enjoyed getting to know the hero and heroine as well as their quirky families! They each had messed up histories, but I loved how they came together and learned to trust again. I can't wait for more!!
Well narrated by Lila Winters and Sebastian York.
