hi guys!!! i know its been a while so i finally decided to do another one of these!

my moderator read this time will be the intruder by freida mcfadden. i'm not the biggest lover of freida mcfadden books but i somehow always read them fast but i'm hoping i'll somewhat enjoy this one!

i'm planning to just put on the audiobook and clean a lil and i'll update you guys as i go!

ok so i just made it to chapter 10 and casey is so stupid omg 😭 she wont ask anyone for help mind you theres a big storm coming her roofs about to fall off and theres someone in her shed and shes just like no its probably nothing

on chapter 23 and wtf 😭 this is so messed up, ella has a HORRIBLE relationship with her mom i feel so so bad. and also if you dont want spoilers dont read past this

so basically theres 2 time lines, before and now and the before one is of a 13 year old girl ella and the now one is of a woman named casey who lives in a cabin in the woods and theres this girl who matches ellas age staying at caseys house whos full name is eleanor, and i think it's actually ella because the girl staying at caseys house has cigarette burns on her arm and ellas mom just burned her with a cigarette in the before timeline

on chapter 32 which is about halfway!! i just got home about an hour or two ago and the audiobook is honestly getting me thru this cause im kinda bored so far😭 but im hoping to finish this today 🤞🏻

ok im thinking that for sure eleanor is ella and so basically the lighter that eleanor has i think is ellas because anton gave her a lighter and that makes sense. this one is kinda far fetched but maybe anton's dad is ella's dad?? at casey's house eleanor seemed to now hate her dad and idk who else it could be

ok so we found out who ellas dad is and it eliminated my last theory abt antons dad being ellas dad and im glad he isnt bc anton and ella kinda have a thing going rn.

so obvi ella is eleanor and she prolly ends up hurting or killing someone bc of all the blood that casey saw on her clothes and bookbag and i honestly dont know who i think shes gonna do it to prob not her mom but since she just snuck into her dads house i think smths gonna happen there and i just got to the point of the story where ella i believe has her knife now

okayyy so i finished up the book last night but i wanted to sit on my rating a little because this one gave me mixed feelings.

i was very bored throughout the middle for a while because there wasn't much suspense and it felt like the story was going no where, and a few of the twists felt pretty predictable. but the end twist hahahaha i was GAGGED talk about a last page moment

but overall do know that there's a bunch of child abuse in the book thats hard to read about if you plan on reading this!!
