Correcting a book record

Inside the Box: How Constraints Make Us Better

Hello, I'm an author and longtime Goodreads user/lover!

I am the author of Range and The Sports Gene, and of the forthcoming Inside the Box: How Constraints Make Us Better, which will be published on May 5, 2026.

I have been unable to add the new book to my author page because every edition is already linked to another author (with whom I share a name).

If anyone can help me figure out how to correct the record for this book (in all editions) so that I'm listed as the author (as opposed to David Epstein the musicologist), it would be very much appreciated. I'm happy to provide any other info I can that might be useful!

Hello David Please try these steps see if it can Help you , Contact Goodreads Librarians and follow these steps.
1. Go to the book page for any edition of Inside the Box on Goodreads.
2. On the right-hand side, scroll down and click “Edit Details” or “Edit Data” (depending on the interface).
3. At the bottom of that page, click “Report this book” or “Request librarian help.”
4. In the message box, write something like this:
Hi Goodreads librarians,
I’m the author of Range and The Sports Gene (David Epstein).
The new book *Inside the Box: How Constraints Make Us Better* (to be published May 5, 2026)
has been incorrectly attributed to David Epstein (the musicologist).
Please merge or reassign all editions to my author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Thank you very much! I'm afraid I do not see any type of "edit" option anywhere on the page (I see it on books in my dashboard, but not on others) but I really appreciate your kind reply.
