L.J. Kendall (luke_kendall) | 20 comments I think because I added my book to Amazon first (because I thought I needed the ASIN to add the book to GR since it's on the "Add a book" form), I think it became the main GR entry for the title:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
instead of
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

(I.e. the 242692018 vs the 242698770 for Cold Heart)

I think it's why the title and contributors had to be trimmed.

So now there are two entries for the same title, and the second one wrongly lists the ASIN for the book with its ISBN10.

Is having two entries like this for a single title an error?

L.J. Kendall (luke_kendall) | 20 comments Oh, "combined" means changes (like reviews or ratings) for one affect the other? Great, thanks!

(And I've learned that Amazon uses the ISBN10 for paperbacks etc. published via someone other than them? That makes sense.)

Scott | 9845 comments To combine means to just link the editions together, so that if you read one edition and your friend read another, you can still see each other's rating etc.
