1. Men-Only Brotherhood:
- This club is for men to connect through reading and bold discussion. United by a passion for epic tales, historical depth, and political insight. No exceptions, to preserve our unique brotherhood.

2. Focus on Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Grimdark, History, and Politics:
- Our core reads span sci-fi, fantasy, grimdark (e.g., Dune, The Black Company, Warhammer 40k), historical texts (e.g., The Guns of August, SPQR), and political works (e.g., The Prince, Team of Rivals). Other genres are welcome via member votes, but we prioritize stories and ideas of war, grit, and power.

3. Respect Your Battle-Brothers:
- Bring your fire—debate Space Marine legions, Caesar’s campaigns, or Machiavelli’s tactics—but keep it respectful. No personal attacks or toxic nonsense. Treat every man like a comrade in the war room.

4. Guard Against Spoilers:
- Use Goodreads spoiler tags (>!spoiler!<) for plot twists or endings. Example: >!Horus’s betrayal in Horus Rising was brutal!< or >!Gettysburg’s turning point in Team of Rivals!<. Label threads clearly (e.g., “Dune Ending – Spoilers” or “SPQR Senate Discussion”). Don’t ruin the saga or strategy for others.

5. Forge the Brotherhood:
- Jump in—vote on books, post in discussions, or pitch reads in the “Book Nominations” board. No need to read every pick, but active brothers keep the fire burning. Lurkers are welcome, but don’t stay in the shadows.

6. Stay on Target:
- Keep main threads focused on books (lore, battles, themes, strategies). Want to geek out over 40k tabletop, Viking raids, or political scandals? Take it to the “War Room Lounge” board for side banter.

7. No Spam or Self-Promotion:
- Don’t hawk your own books, blogs, or unrelated gear. Share 40k memes, battle maps, or book reviews in the right threads, but keep it about the brotherhood’s mission.

8. Monthly Book Battles:
- Suggest reads in the “Book Nominations” board by the 15th each month. We vote by the 20th, one vote per brother. Aim for our genres—sci-fi, grimdark, history, politics—but bold picks outside the box are welcome if the crew agrees.

9. Keep It Sharp:
- Post discussion threads on time (e.g., “Horus Rising Week 1” or “The Prince Chapters 1-5”). Late to a read? Join anyway—no gatekeeping. Label threads clearly (e.g., “Gates of Fire Battle Analysis” or “General Vibe Check”).

10. The Council’s Word:
- Moderators keep the brotherhood in line and can remove posts or members breaking these rules. Got a problem? Message a mod privately. We’re here to build a space where every man can debate, laugh, and revel in epic stories and ideas.
