يقدم الروائي جمال عبد الله مُصطفى، رواية «مترو»، كفكرة في عقل الراوي، والذي يستعد لحزم أمتعته والعودة من رحلة في العاصمة، تحت ضغط زوجته، دون أن يكون قد أنهى روايته التي ترك أسرته من أجل إنهائها، فيقرر كتابة الرواية في عقله أثناء رحلته عبر خط المترو، من خلال استلهام معاناة أحد الشخصيات الذي رآه مُصادفة، ومحاولة تخيل المصير الذي جاء به على هذه الحال . ويعتبر الحدث الرئيسي في رواية «مترو» هو عودة الراوي من القاهرة إلى بلدته صبيحة يوم 25 يناير، ثم نكتشف أننا بصدد ما وراء هذا الحدث، وهو قصة شريف حمدان، الشاب الذي كان موعودًا بمستقبل مشرق، وتحول عبر عدة أسباب، سواء اجتماعية مثل الثأر الذي شتت أسرته وفصلها عن منشأها، وطبقية مثل فقره الذي حال دون الفوز بحبيبته، وسياسية أدت إلى اعتقاله بسبب معارضته للنظام السائد وقتها. هكذا نصبح في رواية داخل الرواية، ونسقط من قصة شريف إلى قصة والده فنعلق داخل رواية أخرى، وعلى ذلك ينهض العالم الروائي عند جمال عبد الله على تداخلات تعمل على شحذ مُخيلة القارئ والاستحواذ على اهتمامه كشريك في كتابة الرواية واستكمال أحداثها.
"لقد أصبحتَ هدفي يا شريف حمدان، سأدخلُ عالمك بلا استئذان، سأحصل على أسرارك الخفية، سأدخل صفحتك الشخصية، لأتجول داخلها بحريتي، بدون أن أضعَ كلمةَ المرورِ، سأقلبُ في ماضيك وحاضرك ومستقبلك، سأعود إليكِ يا سوسو بروايتي الجديدة".
ونجد على حواف الحدث الرئيسي في رواية مترو ثانويات مهمشة، مثل تحديد الزمن بـ 25 يناير، وإشارة للأماكن متفرقة من القاهرة مثل مقهى الفيشاوي، ورغم أن الأحداث تبدأ من انتهاء ارتباط الراوي بالزمن والمكان، إلا أننا لا نبدأ الرواية في صباح 25 يناير حتى ننتهي منها في نفس اليوم، لنجد أن لم نكن بصدد واقع كما اعتقدنًا إنما بمحاولة لتصور الواقع.

I'm an author, I write on novel platforms, and I'll love to have one of my books on here, how am I supposed to do that?
Ive been told only librarians can do that, someone please help
