Hi Martina, yes, I know that’s there and I promise you I did properly check before requesting. Please see the thread I link to at the top of this request: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I’m requesting a new edition with the correct cover and page count because that’s what another Librarian advised me to do. I didn’t think I had to do this either.
Thank you for the explanation. I'm not really sure how those covers differ tho - the one in the database looks the same to me as the one you've provided links for. Is there something I don't see which makes them different?
The page count is the same as well (all the info checks) so I'm a bit confused.

Hi Martina, thanks for getting back to me. It looks like the original Librarian must have fixed the page count part and not mentioned it, as it was 320(?) before I requested.
As for the cover, I agree it’s a minor difference but the difference is the colour of the title text. The cover on Goodreads was uploaded before publication and the title text is pink/purple while the actually published finished version has the title in dark blue, as on Amazon and elsewhere. The version with the pink/purple title never physically existed.
Edit. I've checked the original thread/request that you've linked and finaly see what's up (different color of the title). My Bad. I've should have checked before :-) Sorry about that.
In this case we'll have to add ACE (like Martin said, we would need an a acceptable source of proof stating that the edition that's already in the database never existed to be able to change the cover).
I'll add it as soon as possible.
Alright, ACE with the proper cover added: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... Hopefully it'll be alright now :-)Thank you for being so patient while explaining the issue, I honestly didn't see the difference at first glance.
Have a nice day and please let me know if there's anything else that needs to be added/fixed.

Welcome to the Wild West of Scotland
In 1995, BBC One’s Hamish Macbeth broke all the rules of Sunday night TV. Set in the picture-postcard Highlands of Scotland, this genre-defying drama brought cannibalism and ceilidhs, marijuana and murder, love triangles and lobster tanks to millions of viewers each week.
With Robert Carlyle starring as the laid-back lawman who preferred poaching to paperwork, producers transformed the tiny village of Plockton into the fictional Lochdubh. While they attempted to evade BBC bureaucracy, they couldn’t escape the tourists who soon flocked to see Hamish’s home.
Drawing on dozens of new interviews with cast, crew and local residents, this book reveals how they crafted a vision of Highland life that was part Western, part modern fable and wholly original. Discover the battle over Wee Jock's fate, the mystery of the 'lost' musical episode and how the real-world return of the Stone of Destiny forced last-minute rewrites of the epic series finale.
Jonathan Melville, author of A Kind of Making the Original Highlander and Local Making a Scottish Classic, blends oral history and archive material into the definitive account of how this subversive series became a timeless classic.
