Dan Brown is the author of The Da Vinci Code, a thriller that reached a seemingly unprecedented higher and relentless pace of intensity, and it positively swept the nation. Seemed liked everyone who read books for pleasure was reading this book, and many that didn’t normally read. I can’t remember a book with the same global effect since. Reading seems to have tapered off since smartphones came out.
