The A.B.C. Murders by Agatha Christie 4 stars

Hastings is in England on business and he reconnects with Poirot. Poirot has received a letter signed A.B.C. that someone will be murdered in Andover on a certain date. When Alice Ashcer is killed in her shop and an ABC guide is found on the scene Poirot is convinced a serial killer is on the loose. Soon murders of people with B and C names occur. I read most of Christie's books several years ago and now I'm rereading them in publication order. I remembered the solution to this book probably because it's unique and the solution isn't easy to determine.

I too have been rereading - and discovering a few I missed - AC the last couple of years but not in any particular order. I re-read this one a few months ago and was really struck by how different it was!
