My name is Sarah Adamson. I am a new author, and see that my new book is now listed here in Goodreads; it is very exciting!
I was referred to this group after contacting Goodreads for help with a question regarding this issue. If I am posting this incorrectly or in the wrong area, my apologies.
I seem to have two requests, however they are both connected.
1) I noticed that my new novel is posted in Goodreads twice, with different ISBN's.
2) However, my main help request is that both listings indicate(d) that I had also written another book, which I have not written. That other book was written by another author with the same name as mine (I don't wish to name that other book here, out of respect for the other author). That listing of my book is for ISBN13 9781779628695.
Goodreads' help has already removed the other book from my other listing, which was very kind.
It appears (I may be wrong; I am very new here!!) the reason for the duplicate listings may be that one listing has the title of my book as "The Prophecy And The Circlet," and the second listing as "The Winds of Tribune Series: The Prophecy And The Circlet." I don't really have a prefence of which title may be used here (if they can/should be merged). The more official title is "The Winds of Tribune Series...," however I am happy with it being listed as "The Prophecy And The Circlet."
Is there any way the other book by the other author may be removed from my book's listing? I certainly don't want to create any confusion among readers or users of Goodreads, have another author's work attributed to me, or be associated with a book that I have not written.
Once this issue is resolved, I would very much like (and intend) to "claim" my author page/book as mine so I can create my author profile, etc. I am aware of how to do this.
I do apologize for any confusion; I hope this request makes sense! If I need to provide any more information, kindly let me know.
Thank you very again for your assistance; it is most appreciated. I have "added" the books here; I hope that helps.
