M.M. Strawberry, don't feed the troll. Dobby gave a great response. Any more comments here are a waste of time.
Kent wrote: "Thank goodness you are just a member...David is not "just a member." He is a highly respected superlibrarian with many years of experience in navigating this system. He did not deserve that dismissive comment. I am offended on his behalf.
I'm still waiting for a policy, statement, description based on hard evidence for identifying ai-written content from you or others or Goodreads. Crickets. It says everything. As you've been told, Support is your only avenue in finding those answers. You will not get answers to this question from librarians, as we have received no policy information on this topic from Goodreads Staff.
You've made your frustration clear. We librarians are not your intended audience, however.
My initial request at the start of this discussion stands"And it will continue to be ignored in the Superlibrarian's folder. As you've been told, this is not the forum for your listopia-related requests. Nor is it the forum for complaints about Goodreads policy. You won't be surprised to see us refer you once again to Support, as they. are. the. only. ones. who. can. help. you.
I wish you well on your journey. You are welcome to post a Superlibrarian-specific request at any time. For guidance on those topics, please see Read this before posting in this folder: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I apologize that my earlier responses to your requests were unclear. Perhaps bullet notes will help:
• Librarians do NOT create Listopia lists as part of their duties.
• Librarians are allowed to remove books from a Listopia at the request of the Listopia creator.
• Librarians do not decide on their own which books to remove from a Listopia.
• Librarians are not permitted to comment on or take action on any topic that touches on legal action, including threat of legal action.
• When a request asks librarians to perform an action that is against policy, we refer the requestor to Support for assistance.
• If a librarian performs an action that is against policy, Goodreads can revoke our librarian privileges.
• Finally, these specific requests to remove books/lists from Listopia do not belong in the Superlibrarian folder. Please see the sticky post at the top of each folder, which explains that folder's function.
I do hope that this makes everything clear for you. Librarians are not choosing to refuse help; we have done what we are permitted to do by policy, and that is to refer you to Support. They are the only ones who can give you definitive answers to these unique requests.
I do ask that you stop posting these Listopia requests in the Superlibrarian folder. Your question has been asked and answered; we have nothing more we can do to help you with this issue. Please help us to keep the Superlibrarian folder manageable. We have very few superlibrarians active in this busy folder right now. We must focus on the requests that we do have the authority to fulfill.
Thank you for your understanding and your cooperation.
