I bought this book at New York Comic Con a few years ago and I still haven’t read it, so I should probably get in on this at some point too!

I’ve just started it too.

It’s a lot of fun so far - the tone is quite reminiscent of Michael Sullivan and the Riyria Chronicles. Delightfully snarky.

I'm about 100 pages in. (view spoiler)[ They reached the tower with the witch. (hide spoiler)] I'm glad to be past a bit of the initial set up of the world building and characters. Excited to be on the adventure. Loving the cat.

I've thought about this one. I do like thieves as characters. I see it's free on Kindle Unlimited (which I don't have), also available at the library.

I am just a bit past that. Jen, had a couple of books to finish last night and will get back to it to today. I am enjoying it

I’m closing in on 70% - still really enjoying it. The cat is wonderful. I am keeping ‘rao’ as the noise a cat makes for attention. The goblins are truly horrific

Oh wow! I'm feeling behind but it has been busy. My mom is arriving today too and she is too extroverted and not a reader to get much reading time in this week.

I hit about 50% last night. I learned more about the cat and also love the rao! About to meet the goblins I believe. Kinch is a fun character.

Finished and I thought the fun held up well throughout.

It’s complete enough in itself (no absolute cliffhangers) but it’s clearly setting up for a second. Nothing on the horizon at the moment though, as far as I know - he’s published a prequel but not the sequel.
