LePossume | 13 comments Okay, so it’s not exactly a title (apologies if I’ve misinterpreted the purpose of this topic!), but…

What are your top three “stranded on a desert island” book choices? 🏝️
Mine would be:
• Never Let Me Go — Kazuo Ishiguro
• The Time Traveller’s Wife — Audrey Niffenegger
• The Beach — Alex Garland

Oh boy... my top three...

Does a series count as 1? If so, Harry Potter.

* The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown
* The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
* The Book of Eels: Our Enduring Fascination with the Most Mysterious Creature in the Natural World by Patrik Svensson I know this one is a crazy, off the wall kind of book. But for some reason, it is my comfort book and I can't be without it.

This section is if you want to discuss a book and for it to have it's own highlighted area, like I made for The Wedding People. But no worries. Chatting can be chatting where ever you think it should be. Also I'm not done setting up places to chat. It's all good.

@LePossume Never Let Me Go is on my list. It must be good if it's your deserted island book. The Time Traveller's Wife is fantastic! And I have to look up The Beach. I never heard of it.

LePossume | 13 comments Ah, thanks for clarifying! 😊 I’m looking forward to seeing the other spaces you set up!

Believe it or not, I haven’t actually read the Harry Potter series, but I’m tempted to give it another go. I tried reading them when they first got hyped up as a kid, but I didn’t quite gel with them. Perhaps I’ll have better luck as an adult ☺️

I’ve not heard of your other titles, but I’ll be sure to look them up!

@LePossume My youngest is now 18 and she hasn't read all of them either. She's read the first and second, maybe the third. She's going to pick it up again at some point. Me, I listen to them as I fall asleep.
