“The Inheritance Games” book 3. NO SPOILERS!!!

So I started “The Final Gambit” a few hours ago (I’ve been binging the books for past couple days, which is kinda hard since I have lots and lots of school…and also family members who interrupt me) and I’m 30 something’s percent in.

My question is: is it ridiculous that I hate Eve for literally no legitimate reason?
And is it also ridiculous that I don’t like the idea of Grayson dating her?
I mean, I want him to be happy because I am absolutely in love with “Mr. Ice-blue eyes and sharp gray suit,” but not with her. And not just because I have a ridiculous dislike of her.

Reasons why I don’t approve of Gray and Eve:
1) I feel like it would be bad for him to be with a girl that is the spitting image of the girl who manipulated him and his brother. (who I am also in love with)
2) She both looks and sounds like the girl that they both loved.
3) She both looks and sounds like the girl that tore Gray & Jamie apart.
4) And last but certainly not least: The girl that she both looks and sounds like is the girl that both Jameson and Grayson feel responsible for the death of.

ALSOOOOOO.
While I do not support someone dating brothers (cough, Belly, cough, cough) because it always ends in heartbreak and complicated sibling relationships, (tvd doesn’t count) I at least wanted to experience what Gray and Avery together would’ve been like.




Side note:
I like Eve as a person, I just don’t like the idea of her being involved with ANY of the Hawthornes. I don’t like that she was IMMEDIATELY accepted and was “one of them” while Avery had to prove herself. And I don’t like that she’s Toby’s daughter while (biologically speaking) Avery is not.
I also don’t like that Toby has been with her all this time, but willingly left Avery.
And yes, ik that he had his reasons, and that Eve had a terrible childhood and deserves to finally be loved, and that Toby deserves to get to know his biological kid and doesn’t owe Avery a dad.
But doesn’t Avery get to have a dad too???
(Before anyone says it: yes, I am aware that I’m being absurd. And yes ik that she has people that love her. BUT STILL)

I would just like to say this:
Avery can have Jameson and I get Grayson😌

I mean, im obsessed with them both, but I can’t have both. And Avery already made her choice, so I want Grayson😏

All I can say is no and no. I never liked Eve when I first read it but idc for Grayson and if he got with Eve sooooo
