The book is written by author Jackqueline Hope. I own this book, and can tell you she penned it herself, with no one else involved in the writing. The only names credited are for the cover: cover design (Gillian Tsintziras), cover photographer (Dan Couto), and hair and makeup (Paul Langill). Victor Malarek is nowhere mentioned in this book.
Also, the book was written in English, and the summary printed on the book's jacket reads this, and I kindly ask (or suggest?) that a librarian copy/paste in the book's profile (thanks!):
