Now is a good a time as any to finally read it lol.

I just read a book that I had since 2019 crazy to think that was 6 years ago! so thought I’d help u get a book off ur shelf that you’ve had a while 😁 hope u like it
Kat wrote: "Renee wrote: "Kat wrote: "Renee wrote: "I will look at others' posts, but I'd appreciate if the recommendations to me were focused on my "physical tbr" tag. https://www.goodreads.com/review/list/80..."Lol, much appreciated. In that case my back up choice for you was going to be Troll. or Remembering Sarah, since that seems to be the oldest on your list.

Shandrea wrote: "Here is my recommendations list"Do you want to choose a shelf and we will pick from it one for you to read? Mountain Kat said we can do it that way.
Here is my list of 2024 books. The series rule applies so if need be I'll read the book that is up next for me in that series.
Shandrea wrote: "Here is my list of 2024 books. The series rule applies so if need be I'll read the book that is up next for me in that series."Unsure if you've read Enchantra yet, but I'd recommend that. It was my personal fave of the two.
Shandrea wrote: "Here is my list of 2024 books. The series rule applies so if need be I'll read the book that is up next for me in that series."Admittedly it's not as action-y as Phantasma was. A lot more talking than doing, but still kinda fun imo.
Shandrea wrote: "I am suggesting Sunrise on the Reaping :)"Thanks. I will start by this weekend. I am trying to finish up other books I started.
Mine is probably going to take a while too, as it's a longer book. We'll see. hoping to devote the weekend to it.

Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed it ^_^ I don't know if you read the acknowledgements or not but she mentioned that she originally wrote a version where Umbra dies, but someone on her editing team talked her out of it. I was like THANK THE GODS they did that. I was so scared for her. You can probably guess which scene it was gonna be. I feel like if she went through with it, my rating probably would have tanked. But that's just me. Also I desperately needed to watch Ready or Not while reading it, haha.
I'm struggling with my interest on The Host, but I shall continue on. Hope to have it finished by the end of Wednesday at the latest.
im highly tempted, but it seems speeding up the audio seems to be helping a tiny bit. got about 8 hours left. currently pg 255/619

Rating/Review.: 3.75/5 This was a 16 year journey in the making and it sure as hell felt like it. Wanda's POV was exhausting to be in for 600+ pages. Yet, I did legitimately nearly cry near the end, hence the higher rating. Do with that information as you will. I can say I have no idea why people were expecting a sequel book to this. It was a completed standalone story. I pretty much binged 588 pages in maybe 10.5 hours? So my feelings/rating might change after I've slept on it. I'm feeling so many things right now. Thank you Kat for making me finally read this damn thing!

Kat wrote: "When u messaged last night I felt bad for making u read it but I’m glad u got to finally finish it."Hah don't feel bad at all. If I were truly that miserable, I would have just asked for a different choice. Luckily I was stubborn and didn't have other priorities to focus on. :)

Remembering Sarahby Chris Mooney
Pages: 320
Date read: 13/11/25
Rating 4*
Review: I’ve had this book for a long time. I’m so glad i read it as it was really good. The main characters daughter goes missing and although I felt at times it wasn’t about Sarah going missing, there was other stories to keep me interested. I was shocked at the way it ended and I didn’t see that coming.
