I’m not sure about everyone else but I’m not getting notifications about comments until wayyyyy later. Just wanted to let everyone know
mine have been delayed as well but ive been chalking it up to app stuff. my app doesnt tell me about notifications until I open it, which kinda defeats the purpose lol
Been listening to the audiobook of Playboy Pilot, have like 3 1/2 hours left and omg it's a hate read at this point. I do not and will never understand insta-love tropes. >_<*Wishing I just reread Cocky Bastard instead, but I can't seem to find an audio of it on libby.

Of the three, I enjoyed Cocky Bastard more. Granted, I read it back in 2021 which was roughly peak covid brain for me so your mileage may vary and my problems with this book may also be in there and I just don't remember. But Suit and Pilot just weren't it for me personally.
Kat wrote: "Ha okay I’m really enjoying it"Lol, I suspect we all ended up reading this one. I'm hoping it works out for you all better than it did me.
Playboy Pilot by Vi Keeland and Penelope WardPages: 300
Task: All group reads from vi keeland series
Date read: October 24th 2025
Rating: 4*
Review: This was really good. It’s the first one I’ve read in the series and looking forward to the others. I loved carters neighbours and the way they helped him . One minute I was laughing away, then next I’d be trying to not get upset. Had it All in this book.
Task #4 - Every player reads a book from same series
Book - Stuck-Up Suit by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward
Page numbers - 328 (kindle edition)
How book qualified, with links or cover as necessary.
Date Completed - 10/26/2025
Rating/Review - ⭐⭐⭐ I was enjoying the first part of the book until the main character found out he had a child. I don't think it was necessary to the story.

Nope that was my first book by them in that loosely based series As their stand alone so don’t need to be read in order.
Completion PostTask 4 - 9. Each player reads a book in the same series, teams decide. No pass for this task.
Playboy Pilot by Penelope Ward
Pages - 300
Qualification - Same author as team
Read - 10/30
Rating - 3.5 stars
Review - The first half of this book was fantastic.. the decline in the book started with the jailing incident in Dubai.. Disappointing. I also was a little put off by how obsessed the MMC was with The Beatles... like enough is enough..

I'm settled with Kylie Scott as well. Need to catch up on the Stage Dive books. Found it on audio, so I hopefully can have my read done by Monday.Temp info: kindle edition 320 pages
Maritza wrote: "Hi Guys, I don't know alot of these authors? Except for Emma Chase and Kylie Scott."Maritza, may I friend you as well? I just realized I hadn't inquired yet.
And same, I only know of Emma Chase and Kylie Scott, though I have read one book from Avery Flynn and I very much disliked it, so. Depends on what kind of romance you're in the mood to read, I suppose. Looks like a wide selection in the choices.

Review: I absolutely adored this book. Considering it’s been on my tbr since 2019 is a shocker. It had fake dating which has became my new favourite trope. It had banter, it had chemistry between Zara & Caleb and it had hockey which I love to watch in life and so love it in my books even better. This book had me goofy grinning to my hearts content and my heart flip flopped at the things that happened. Also had a Great Dane who was adorable. And Zara’s best friend Gemma was wicked I loved her and hopefully see her have her own book.Did I say I loved it yet?

I nearly DNFed this book, but I trusted the author and it did get better for me. BUT, the second book in this series is one of my favorite couples the author has written!
Here is your next task!Task 6 - 12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
You can do the recommendations however you wish - to the group, to each individual, to the person below you on the list or ?? - it's up to you. If you want to provide a specific shelf for a teammate to to pick from, it needs to have a minimum of 10 books on it. Please include a link to the message with the recommendations in your completion posts.
Another team struggled understanding this task, so I wanted to try to help you out. Most teams do this more like M&G or PIFM and have teammates pick from a specified shelf. OR They create a shelf of favorite books or 5 Star reads and basically say they would recommend anything on that shelf - with series rule if desired. Or you can come up with a different way - it is completely up to you.All I want to see is that everyone read a book and you can point to how/where it was recommended.
I will look at others' posts, but I'd appreciate if the recommendations to me were focused on my "physical tbr" tag. https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... Thank you :)
Kat wrote: "My list https://www.goodreads.com/review/list..."
Are those ones you have read or want to read? I'm mildly confused
Renee wrote: "I will look at others' posts, but I'd appreciate if the recommendations to me were focused on my "physical tbr" tag. https://www.goodreads.com/review/list......"I haven’t read any of your physical tbr but I’ll pick The Host
I’ve deleted my list and just gonna give my November tbr. Can you pick something please https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...I know it can’t be the ones I’m reading or the non fiction.
Kat wrote: "I’ve deleted my list and just gonna give my November tbr. Can you pick something please https://www.goodreads.com/review/list..."Hmm I vote for One Left Behind, forest/woods seems to be the theme for this season in the book world.
