A slow start, but once the world’s built, it’s unputdownable 👀. A diverse cast, a delicious slow-burn enemies-to-lovers 🔥🗡️❤️, and the last 200 pages? Pure chaos in the best and worst way 🐉. I devoured every moment.
Iron Flame stumbled.
A simmering war plot and punchy ending were its only redeeming features. Otherwise, 700 pages of sluggish pacing, teen-drama “romance,” and endless miscommunication left me drained 😮💨. Violet’s stubbornness grated, old flaws resurfaced, and only the last 50 pages hit. A trudge, not a triumph — now I’m questioning if I’ve the patience for Onyx Storm!
What do you think? Stick it out or cut my losses? ✂️
Personally, I despised Onyx Storm and wouldn’t read it ever again😭 but if you want to see how the rest of the story plays out, it would be wise to read it.

ALSO, thank you for the add Isla! Although I used Goodreads for a number of years I never really got involved with group stuff so this should be fun!
Anyone up for maybe doing a buddy read?? I'm open to suggestions!
