Having finished my first run through the alphabet, I read will-nilly in August. My favorites included The Silver Gate by Kristin Bailey, which is a medieval historical in which the MC's little sister (who probably has Down's Syndrome) is considered a changeling ... and Benny on the Case by Wesley King, which is a mystery set in Newfoundland, and in which (quite coincidentally) the MC has Down's Syndrome. I also enjoyed The Bellwoods Game by Celia Krampien, which is a Halloween story that's completely illustrated, Ash's Cabin, which is a graphic novel about surviving in the woods by Jen Wang, and Weird Kid, which in which you'll find aliens. Also, I finally (finally) got around to reading Nevermoor: The Trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend, and I'm eager to continue the trilogy, which has magic school vibes.
How about you?
