your manuscript seems to have parallels to my own writing
I've beta read a bunch before. I take a little bit of time but past people commented on my thoroughness in plot and world building.
I'm polishing up a new manuscript. No one has read this one yet so it may need some brutal honesty.
reach out if you're interested. I'm flexible with my timeline.

90K word adult far future sci-fi thriller - 2 POVs:
A FMC stole a life at a prestigious academy - failure means death. Exposure means expulsion. Her violent past is only a step behind. Hidden forces manipulate minds and threaten to poison her new life.
FMC had spent her life on the run and lost everything. After escaping a strange medical facility with stitches and nothing to her name, a friend of her father sneaks her into the most prestigious psychic academy in the galaxy.
As her last chance at freedom and to avoid death, FMC must pass rigorous academic requirements, avoid her past from being exposed, and navigate the secrets of the academy.
When MMC, the man who murdered her parents gets released from prison and praised as a hero, he tracks down a mysterious organization whose path leads her back to FMC.
It is really important to me that I get an honest review, so I wanted to see if I get yet an additional pair of eyes on it. My previous version - despite having a LOT of issues - also got a very positive critique from a person, and maybe I just found someone who really liked the story, but now I am a bit paranoid and probably have a bad case of imposter syndrome.
Looking for someone who'd be open to give constructive, kind, but honest feedback, and am willing to do the same for you.
My protagonist is a young girl who finds out she is the result of a covert gene editing study, when the institution who had originally shut down their research because it was deemed too dangerous, finds out that she is still alive. As she remembers her past and discovers the secret ability which makes her incredibly valuable to the wrong people, her journey leads her through betrayal, found family, a relentless cat-and-mouse chase, and a little bit of romance, towards the central question whether or not her genes determine her future.
