Hi Martina, thank you so much for that. No, I am a different Neil Hunter to that author, and this is my only book.
The biog is brief: Neil Hunter is a TV producer and comedy writer from Leeds. He presently lives in North Yorkshire.

Alright, I moved your book to a brand new author profile (with three spaces between the name and the surname): https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...You can claim it as your own here: https://www.goodreads.com/author/auth... By doing so, you'll be able to add/edit your own books and/or maintain/update your author profile (info, photos, links, etc.)
One final question if that's alright. How do I add my novel to this list of Leeds books?: https://www.goodreads.com/places/3717...According to the FAQ, 'Below the list description, select Add Books to This List and then Add books to this list' but no such option exists for me.
I guess those instructions are not updated (it seems to me that that was the proper way to add books to the list a while back, when everyone was able to add books to the database).Now it usually requires changing the book settings, but it can only be done by librarians or authors that already claimed their author profile.
I've changed the settings so you should be able to see your book in the list now :-)

Unfortunately my application to claim my author profile has been declined.
I do not have an official author website or an official email. The publisher, Black Spring, although 40+ years old, is an indie press and doesn't have things like official email addresses. We're using gmails etc.
Are there other methods by which I can verify myself?
Don't worry, that issue is quite common actually. I don't understand why they haven't changed the requirements yet to be more inclusive towards new authors or authors that are not as active in online spaces, but what can we do about it... It happens way more often than it should.
