Potential spoiler alert....
When Harriet and Tom are attacked in London, Harriet immediately disappears.
This point is never really resolved. She could have vouched for Tom's story, yet when they are reunited, Tom doesn't ask her where she has been?
Wouldn't he be angry with her for just disappearing? Wouldn't he have wanted to know where she went?
Has this been left as a teaser, suggesting perhaps that she isn't all she seems...?
