Astrid | 115 comments I was editing the series numbering and stumbled across a mistake with book one. Since normal books and boxed sets shouldn't be combined, I tried to separate this edition (volume with combined stories):
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

From the rest of the book 1 editions:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...

But because it's the most saved version it wouldn't allow me to do it.

Anyone who knows how to do it?

Emily | 17491 comments You have to separate everything else together, and leave it by itself.

Astrid | 115 comments Thank you. I’ll try doing that :)

Tawnya | 4040 comments It is especially fun*😒 when a book has hundreds (or thousands, {ugh} Victor Hugo) of editions. /s

For the first year I was here I didn't know we could ask the supers to merge to the default. There were times when I got locked out because of how many editions I had to separate. I learned early on not to try to separate too many at once. Both the system and my computer hate it. 20 or so seems OK. Then I saw another librarian ask a super to merge to the default. Such a time-saver.

I never used to read the boards. Now I read everything since one will learn more from the back and forth discussions than the bloody manual that is supposed to cough* cough* help.
