Tolkien's Lord of the Rings Trilogy (I can get through the Hobbit ok.)

The Da Vinci Code (couldn't even read a page. Awful.)

Yes! It was awful. I stuck it through to the end and it wasn't worth it.

Megan (megmez) | 38 comments ACOTAR - put me off the entire genre.
Really Good, Actually - was really self indulgent and unbearable actually
The Midnight Library - didn't hate but it wasn't all everyone made it out to be
Fifty Shades of Grey - the absolute worst, anyone involved in getting it published should hang their heads in shaaaaame, such awful writing

WILMA BROWN | 14 comments To Kill a Mockingbird. I did not like the book. I guess I missed something. I didn't like the movie. I went to the town in Alabama to see the play. It was ok.

I didn’t mind the 1st Lord of the Rings, but then it went off in so many different directions that I couldn’t keep track of what was happening. It didn’t help that each character had at least 3 names, either.

Janie (madlyjane) | 12 comments Infinite Jest. I read it once. I will never read it again. Most of the books I own, I read at least twice. I don't really hate books though. I just don't like them, usually because of bad writing. But Infinite Jest was not bad writing. It was just all over the place and annoying. I loved the author though. He wrote some wonderful nonfiction.

Manas Pandey (themanaspandey) | 4 comments I read a dark romance book, which has like 4+ rating here. I read it cause a youtuber who doesn't usually read, was reading that. The book was badly written and had interesting scenes but was in all very predictable and conclusive. I can not come to say that I it, as I don't hate any book.

The Book was Haunting Adeline.

I have to say, that was the worst written book I have ever read.

Agreed! I liked 4th wing.. iron wing.. so-so and hated onyx storm! I had to skip pgs and force myself to slog thru it. Thats one series I will not continue when books 4& 5 come out👍
