Let Them Swim! -We have to learn to let people swim in their own water, otherwise, they will cause you to drown, so to speak. They will either listen or not, they will either change or not, it's not your job to save them. It's meant for us to "love, pray, and encourage others" so stop stressing yourself out trying to do something you have no control over. The simple fact is you can't save people from themselves, as much as you might try. Remember we have one "Savior, Jesus Christ!" -

For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. -1 Timothy 2:5
For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. -2 Timothy 4:3

Matthew 28:18-20 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you." (The Great Commission.)

I understand the point of Diane's post. Some people will deny God's love in the face of God's love. But it's not exactly correct to suggest the Bible tells us to abandon the lost sheep to their own damnation.
