this book was sort of so disappointing to me to be honest. !!SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED!!




I really wanted a happy ending for Kitt, at least in the after like, like Adena and Mak did, but it ended with him just being sort of silently accepting of his life and I hated that tbh.
Also, the Lenny/Blair content was too much for me because they legit got more page time than Kitt. (if you want to know more about what I think, then read my review because I can’t go into all of it 😭)

@erin I totally agree with you! SPOILERS: I have such mixed feelings about this book! I love Lenny and so I did like that I got more of him but he so deserved better than Blair! I did like Mara bc I think she was kinda funny. But overall I have more questions than before. Also I don’t know if you have read the letters from Kai and if not then spoilers for them but I feel like this book was setting up a spin off series about Kit or she has another plan. Idk I feel like we might have a spin off series abt Kit and her power and whatever.

@Preslee No, I didn’t read the letters from Kai! What are they about? Do you know if I can read them somewhere? And personally, I found Mara really bland, up until the end, because all of her chapters were focused on Lenny and Blair so she just didn’t seem to have much of a personality until she SPOILERS: went psycho at the end.
And, yeah, in my opinion, Lauren’s definitely set this up for a new spinoff series about Kit. Honestly I wish she hadn’t because I just want a new series from her as both Fearful and Reckless were mostly filler, and Fearless was basically a copy of the first book with an added side plot of ‘Siblings or Dating?’

i think im such a fool for lauren cuz i hated it and loved it. SPOILERS. i hated how he died and the reason but i loved that he told kai that its not his fault. and i loved lenny, ngl. also, the prologue? the king scene? and mara exaggerated

@erin THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT! I’m like terrified that she will do that bc let’s be honest it’s Lauren Robert’s and she isn’t afraid to rip our hearts out
