Sue | 2709 comments 57 year old Iona Iverson is an advice columnist for a women's magazine. She sees the same crowd every day on her train commute, and has given each person a nickname. Train etiquette calls for everyone to mind their own business and travel in their own bubble - so she doesn't know any of these people personally.

That all changes one day when a businessman chokes on a grape and requires the Heimlich maneuver, leading to a small group of people beginning to get to know each other.

The book follows the interwoven stories and growing friendships of that group. It was a delightful and fun read - light romance, light humor and happy endings. Exactly what I look for in "chick lit".
