Patrick Sweeney The authors are optimistic that global population will stabilize. All the facts they present argue against that. Generalizing, women choose something to do with their lives other than motherhood where the choice exists. Nothing realistic is offered by them as capable of influencing the choice of women to become mothers. "Hope" (p.202) is not a strategy.
