Brief Synopsis:
When Eloise Yardley inherits a staggering fortune from a 17th-century English duchess, she is thrust from her quiet life into a world of unimaginable wealth and dangerous secrets. This mysterious legacy connects her fate to that of her ancestor, Cecile, a spirited young woman who, centuries earlier, discovers something magical that could alter time itself. Unravelling the twisted inheritance may be the only way for Eloise to survive her own destiny.


I am looking for a couple of interested beta readers of this genre for my debut historical fantasy novel entitled 'Twisted Inheritance'. I have been in the publishing industry for over 11 years but this is my first time writing a book of my own. It has been in the making for over three years and I have finally finished writing it. At this time, I have not sent it to an editor, so the book is in its raw state. As such I would like to hear from beta readers, once they have read it, to tell me:

If the book reads well;
Whether they were hooked by the concept;
If they would like to find out what happens next;
If the reader did not find it enjoyable;
If the reader did not find the book well-written;
Whether the pace was slow or about right.

Ultimately I am looking for clear, honest and objective feedback.

And just a heads-up: This manuscript contains two scenes that reference sexual assault. The scenes are not explicitly graphic, but the subject matter may be triggering for some readers.
