jeliy | 428 comments Not sure why this one keeps getting missed?

Can the narrator at least be added so I can stop having to bump it? (The OP is from 08/26/25)
Thanks!

Dan | 128 comments Done.

I added the narrator but not page count as that is not indicated on amazon.com and instead has a listening length which makes sense considering this is in audio format.

I added the page count of 14 (hours rounded up). Please check the Librarian Manual for more information.

jeliy | 428 comments Emily thanks for the correction. I will mark this as done.

For Dan:
"For audio books, the number of hours rounded up should be used in lieu of number of pages, when that information is known." per manual

That is why I asked for the page count to be 14 since the listening length is 13 hours and 6 minutes.

Trust me I didn't know that rule way back when, until the librarians kindly pointed it out. ;)

I dont usually do audio book requests and only replied since it seemed this was being ignored.

I figured it was such but was not comfortable adding since it really 13 and 6 mins and that's a huge round up regardless my apologies if my help wasn't perfect.

jeliy | 428 comments No apologies are necessary! You helped and it was nice you took the time to say why you didn't add page count. Many would not do that, nor be as nice. I mentioned the rule since I wanted to make sure both of you knew I was aware it. It wasn't meant to be condescending.

Honestly, I still think the page count rule is ridiculous and would rather see the total length of the book. And long ago when I said exactly that I was informed "nicely" by librarians that was the rule...period. So now I just comply.

Thanks again for your help!

Dan | 128 comments I understand what you are saying as I also have had some interactions as you mentioned and tend to find them disheartening so thank you for your reply it is appreciated!

It's fine, most people wouldn't know the rule. It is not a great one.
I'm sorry you have had disheartening encounters.
And it is very rare that a simple post would be ignored, most likely just missed/overlooked. The requests come in much too quickly for anyone to try to do them in order or keep up with which one they are on unfortunately.
