Dark Academia, Spooky or Cozy

Welcome to 2025 Reading Challenge’s FALL individual readathon! This month we are hosting a 3-day individual reading challenge. Which type of fall are you having?

General Information
🍁 September 26 to September 28, 2025
🍁 Begins and ends at midnight in your own time zone
🍁 5 prompts (including any book on your TBR)
🍁 Prompts may be repeated
🍁 Any book formats qualify (graphic novel, large print, audio, etc.)

Once the readathon goes live, we will post a tracking and discussion thread for participants to keep everyone updated on how their reading is going and discuss. We’d love to have you join us for all of the fun but none of this is required to participate! Simply begin your reading on the 26th and conclude on the 28th.

• going to use this for HRCYED: 1) 24-hour non-stop reading 2) any readathon

Hi everyone! I'm excited to join but will be shifting my days slightly - I am on vacation starting the 28th so I plan to do a slower 'thon throughout that week vs the weekend (I have a long drive to get to my vacation destination, so won't be conducive to reading!)

How fun! I’m excited to participate in the Readathon. Makes me wonder why I don’t give myself permission to take a few “only reading” days more often? I’m thrilled that the outline says we can use the same prompt more than once 😊 I think I’ll use this time to tackle my TBR list. Here’s to reading days!

Theresa, this is my first time doing a readathon. I will likely have a book already begun that won't be finished by the start of the readathon. Can I finish that book and use those pages as one of the prompts?

The individual readathons are not as "strict," so to speak. You can finish the book during this readathon.

A note for future team Readathons, you would need at least 100 pages left to count them.

Yes, you may include graphic novels for individual readathons.
