Sarai (book_boyfriend_addict) | 62 comments So I can be very self conscious about what i wear and how i look because of my mom and her view on clothes, but i literally forget that there's nothing wrong with me, I'm like an average height and weight and I'm actually giving body sometimes, but literally i cant talk about it with my friends cause thats not the friendship vibe and just like, help, i feel like if i had more confidence I'd look prettier 🫠🫠🫠

sushi ೀ⋆。 | 3 comments omg, i feel like this sometimes too! its like, "body is tea!...wait...no." but deep down i KNOW body is tea!!😝 and i know that it might be hard to belive this sometimes, but someone out there has seen you and gone, "dang. i wish i could look like her...😞" so just remeber that you are beautiful just like everyone else!!!

liz (liz_girlyy) | 143 comments omg i feel kinda the same way, like my mom will judge what i choose to wear ALL THE TIME!! i get how you feel girl!! i feel like my confidence has gotten a lot better over the last year. but like i cant go to tj maxx and get a cute shirt thats NOT provocative without my mom hiding/taking it… like girl i bought that?? idk i get it and its annoying sometimes.

jane :) | 87 comments i think 1. its good to find a friend who u can talk to about this, everyone will need it 2. TOTALLY agree with the mom thing i got a strapless sparkly dress from some popular store for a party and after i showed my mom i heard her talking to her friend saying “her clothing taste has been getting so sl*tty”. i wouldnt take it personally. i didnt. they are older than us, standards have changed, style has changed, and i also i bet ur taste is so cool. 3. there are good days and bad days for your body and also for how you feel about it. confidence is something you build overtime, you aren’t instantly going to look and feel prettier if you are confident (trust me), it takes time. dont rush it.
