If a dungeon was run as a tourist attraction, would it be any less deadly?

Jazck is a kobold, born and raised in Harald’s dungeon. When heroes come knocking, he and his brood rain spears and oil from the murder holes. After the violence, they are tasked with repairs and improvements; all to convince adventurers of the dungeon’s authenticity.

Now the kobold numbers are few, and Harald still insists the dungeon runs at peak efficiency. Something has to be done, someone needs to say something.

Plus, this latest troupe are proving to be adept delvers. Didn't Harald vet them? Is he trying to get everyone down here killed?

This is a novella, about 18k words. Maybe one long read, or more like a couple nights.
