I missed you tonight. Haven't seen you around town in the last few days, is everything okay? Anyway, I figured out the arson case and caught the guy in the act, but he slipped away. Maybe join me in two weeks for the next one? Hit me up if you wanna hang or anything more.
I have been busy as hell these past few days with this murder case. You know, the mysterious ones that have been popping up lately, and seem to the work of a serial killer or killers? There isn't much evidence for it, so I feel like I've been going in circles, and I haven't even been able to get a proper murder board set up. So you caught him but didn't catch him..? Honestly, I would love to, I do intend to crack this case, but I NEED a break. Can't work 24/7, I'll lose my mind. Besides, it's been too long.
I caught him as in I knew which building would catch fire, and then I saw the fire. I didn't catch him as in I never saw the man himself. I ended up a little distracted. Ell, you need a break and a deep breath. I haven't touched the steaming pile of shit that is the murder case and here you are trying to solve it, likely alone. Where are you? I can come to you. Not tonight, but tomorrow or soon. I have something to put in the paper in the morning then I'm free.
I see. So you don't have a description of him? A shame. I would keep an eye out, and you could put out a sketch or something. Well, it IS my job, and someone has to solve it. I'm sure I can, it just might take a while. It's not like all the other cases I've worked on, and you're right, I do need a break. Desperately. I'm actually in Asterath at the moment, but maybe I should start moving back and forth some more. It might sound stupid, but I miss the fresh air. And you, of course. We can play cards or something. Or better yet, you can let me take a peek at your evidence and I can help you piece it all together with my wow-ing detective skills. Asterath, huh? Wouldn't expect to find you down in those parts. So we think the murderer is in the caves? Very interesting. I may or may not have plans tomorrow, but I'll keep you posted. A hotel room sounds fancy for us. Not just the wall of a dark alley or the bathrooms at a gala?
My apologies, I had no intention of offending you. Yes, well, I fear I don't have much evidence at the moment, but we can try to work it out. Why not look over the evidence and have some fun? Another head on the case, and a bit of a break, not a bad combination. I like Asterath, but more as a place to visit if I'm being honest. Hey, for the first time in my life I'm able to afford a hotel room, let me enjoy it. Dark alleys might be a bit too dangerous just now, and I haven't been to a gala in ages. At least there'll be no fear of anyone walking in on us. We've had some close calls, haven't we?
No offense taken, I'm messing with you. We can certainly play that evidence game again. I bet I can have you stripping faster than last time. We know how good I am at guessing details of cases. We will certainly have to get a room, in that case. Make the paycheck worth it. And don't knock a good dark alleyway! The potential for visitors makes it all the more exciting. But not in a public sex kink way.

Good to know. I grew up surrounded by people who got offended over every little thing, so bear with me if I wonder if you're being serious sometimes. (I was, however, under the impression that it was a joke. Do you think I would word it that way if I were truly apologizing - actually, don't answer that.) Don't be so certain, I'm the professional investigator, after all, I can hold my own against you. I think you should be prepared to strip, yourself. Alright, I'm now wondering if you do, in fact, have a public sex kink. Are you saying the potential is exciting, but not if it actually happened? (Also, need I remind you of how many people at those galas we were related to? Spare me.)
It is L after L for ol' Matti boy this evening. First the arsonist, now you? Et tu, Brute! Please, you may be a professional, but I've been solving crimes since you were in grade school. And I was in grade school. We were both there, but I was solving crimes. The point here is, I'm going to win and have you on your knees for me. No, I would not enjoy actually being caught with my pants down, most of all by our families. Lantas, I feel like there's a gaggle of women out there in the vast universe somewhere judging me for my word choice. I would much rather have you to myself than be surrounded by people.

Oh, don't act like I've never beaten you. I have solved plenty a case without your help, and had plenty a break-through of my own even in ones you helped with. And whatever you were doing in grade school, I am still the professional. I don't mind your help, however. I shall be beating Altan one way or another, you can bet on that. Methinks the lady - er, gentleman - doth protest too much. No, I'm just joking, I believe you. There's a gaggle right in Voxthain to judge us for plenty of things. I say let them.
