* Description:
This is not a tidy healing story. It's a reckoning. A return.
The loss of a violated womanhood set on fire by anger and pain, slowly turning to ash, finding meaning and peace. Lainey Molnar tells her life story with rawness and accountability, unraveling what all women carry: the silencing, the shapeshifting, the violence, the oppression, and what we become just to survive.
The world has failed women, but we refuse to fail ourselves, and we rise, as always. This time creating a new, kinder world as we begin scripting our own reality.

It is a messy love letter to the parts of you that were never truly lost, only buried. If you have ever felt hopeless, or like you had to harden yourself to stay safe, or shrink yourself to be loved, this book will remind you there is nothing wrong with who you are, only with the world that asked you to be someone else.
This is for the ones who are still soft, still wild, and still here.

Reader Discretion Advised: This memoir contains references to trauma, abuse, and self-harm. Please read with care.

Brad Audiobibliophile (trollslayer1) | 10155 comments The link leads to 404 error.

We need a webpage showing the (ISBN/ASIN and other) book data, not just the cover. We also need it for the cover image. It should be non-bookseller site (Amazon & AbeBooks excepted), so from the publisher, library or another acceptable site: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...
Alternatively, if you have the book, we can use a scan/photo of your copy for the cover and the page with the publication information (you can upload a scan/photo of your own to the "more photos..." section of your profile (https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new)), then copy the link here and a librarian can add it. Make sure you state the source of the photo in the text and that your account settings are public (not private).
