Hey I just tried to send them a message but they aren't accepting messages apprently.
Hey Filli if you can respond here if you are still around so we can get this issue fixed!

Abigael | 416 comments Who did this challenge in 2022? I’m considering Category 15. My team, in case anyone cares, was Zenobia.

Tiffany dropped out of the challenge. Can I still read Neil Gaiman for Category 15?

Hey it's all good, just make sure its in so its counted!

Also we are now in second ya'll! I will say right now its mainly due to title points!

Also to answer your question Abigal I was doing it in 2022! So far my list is:
2021-Team Merlin
2022-Team Mary Poppins
2024-Team Sophie Foster
And now this year!

I see them, but they don't have a date read. So please add that and they'll be added to the sheet. :)

EdenB15 | 403 comments Yay for 2nd place! I feel like I’ve not been able to read as much this year as I normally would and this month has gone so quickly but let’s smash the week ahead and see what we can read!

Aeriell Castleman | 204 comments Hey ya'll Whoever read the book for task #78, are you sure that book is 700+pages? It says around the 400 mark on goodreads.

I put it at 512 as I looked among the Kindle, Paperback, and Hardback editons and put it there.

I'm like less then 100 pages from finishing the 672 page book: Neverseen! Update: Finished it!!
I don't know if I'm going to get to Lodestar which I put as the 5th book in a series. I'll try to find another to slide in there if not.

That's awesome Aeriell.

Show us who you are for task #87 done, updated the spreadsheet. This book was way more emotional than I thought it would be and was timely in so many ways. TW eugenics and ablism

message 114: by Aeriell (new)

Aeriell Castleman | 204 comments I found a book to fit in for task #88! It's a quick read so that will be another section finished!!

message 115: by Aeriell (new)

Aeriell Castleman | 204 comments Does anyone have a book to read for task 33? If you do and can then that would be another section done!

message 116: by Abigael (new)

Abigael | 416 comments I’ve been trying to leave easier ones for other people (e.g., Red cover), but I have books for Ghost, Photo, and a few others.

message 117: by AurorainBookland (last edited Sep 29, 2025 07:03AM) (new)

AurorainBookland | 749 comments Captain from Kadi "If they’re not able to confirm they’ve read it within the month of September and there’s no read dates on their shelf then no it can’t count sadly! If it’s been put on your team spreadsheet please take it off as you can’t get any points for those unless the team member can confirm the dates they read it."

The books in question are not on spreadsheet so we're good.

message 118: by AurorainBookland (new)

AurorainBookland | 749 comments Filli if you are here please add read dates to your books on the challenge shelf.

message 119: by AurorainBookland (new)

AurorainBookland | 749 comments Abigael that's awesome!

message 120: by AurorainBookland (new)

AurorainBookland | 749 comments Kala Abigael 66 says this as an example Protagonist gets lost on a hike through wilderness but the task is a scene where the protagonist confronts a wild animal, so you need to change your example for this one to count.

message 121: by AurorainBookland (new)

AurorainBookland | 749 comments 68 was The wise woman because the prompt is a character who gets lost in the wilderness and the example for that one is Protagonist gets lost on a hike through wilderness

message 122: by Abigael (new)

Abigael | 416 comments Fixed 14#66

Can someone ask Kadi if randomly encountering & then singing with a group of Girl Scouts for 20 verses of a song counts as a choir?

Glad you enjoyed the challenge Eden, hope to read along with you and the other team members as part of a monthly theme read a long or whatever Kadi comes up with. Maybe there will be something for December or sooner, these things do take time to prepare.
Happy reading everyone! Thanks for making Team Moose awesome.

message 126: by Abigael (new)

Abigael | 416 comments Still waiting to hear back from Kadi on some things, so not all of my books are on the main spreadsheet yet. Thanks for reading, everyone!

Hey Team Moose Flanagan! The end of the Challenge is sadly upon us😞 I hope you all had a lot of fun!

I’m going to announce the winning team tomorrow so Team Captains can have a bit more time to finalise the Team Spreadsheets, but in the meantime please share your fave reads of the Challenge here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

And if you have any suggestions for next year’s Challenge, please share them here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Thanks so much for taking part everyone! It’s been so lovely and an honour to have hosted our 6th annual MG Reading Challenge!🎉
