Hi, we appreciate your patience as we work through the tremendous backlog. Instagram is not an acceptable source. We need a webpage showing the ISBN/ASIN and other book data to validate the info and if available we need it for the cover image. It should be non-bookseller site (Amazon & AbeBooks excepted), so from the publisher, library or another acceptable site: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/..., if you have the book, we can use a scan/photo of your copy for the cover and the page with the publication information (you can upload a scan/photo of your own to the "more photos..." section of your profile (https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new) in the browser, not the app), then copy the link here and a librarian can add it. Make sure you state the source of the photo in the text and that your account settings are public (not private).
Hi Eline, thank you for your help and support. The book was a published independently, as mentioned in my comment, so the only author site is actually their instagram. The other source that proves the book origin is the Kobo page, that is not allowed per your guidelines and therefore it was not provided.
Also as mentioned, the only format is ebook, so there's no physical copy of it.
With these strict guidelines, I believe this book can never be added in Goodreads, which I know it's not your fault.

Hi Jessica, doesn't the ebook have a cover page and a colofon? If you can take a picture from that it will also be ok to add the book. You can upload a scan/photo of your own to the "more photos..." section of your profile: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/new), section More photos.. Make sure you state the source of the photo in the text.

Hi Andrea, unfortunately according to the librarian manual Kobo editions are permitted on the site, but Kobo is not a valid source for covers and other book data. We cannot use this source. Please see this information: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

We dn't just need a cover, we'll also need a capture/printscreen from your ebook Edition information page, where is Publication date, Publisher info, ISBN, etc.
