Please be aware that there are a small group of scammers in the community and they may try to contact you privately.

They have been known to offer "free" beta reads and then turn around and ask for a Fiverr review in order to continue reading your manuscript after finishing a couple of chapters. In addition, and perhaps of more concern is that some of them have been known to feed people's work to AI.

You will find a list of known scammer usernames as well as the emails they use. That list is updated as often as we can and you can feel free to post there to include your experience as well.
